In the 1950s, due to the awareness of territorial sea security and the need of ocean exploration, countries rushed to build nuclear submarines. In December 1970, China's first nuclear submarine "Chang Zeng 1 submarine SSN", designed by Huan Xuhua, the "father of nuclear submarines in China", was successfully launched. Its birth marks the development of China's warship equipment technology to a new stage.
Mr. Huang Xuhua and his design team work at 719 Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited. It is a large-scale overall design institute with multiple disciplines and specialties undertaking national key projects, and the only overall design institute for nuclear-powered ships in China.
Since the design of the first nuclear submarine was declared successful, 719 Institute has been concentrating on research and development, and the development project of a new generation of nuclear submarines had won the 5th China Industrial Award.
Behind a number of honorary achievements is the accumulation of countless experiments. In the research and development of nuclear submarines, the accuracy, stability and scene simulation ability of experiments will directly affect the project progress. Based on this, 719 Institute issued a cooperation invitation to EBICO to provide 12 EBICO EC-GR series low-nitrogen combustion equipment for its 4×50MW output demand.

Low nitrogen-environmental protection
With the comprehensive application of EBICO VIC, subsonic, vector disturbance and other technologies, the central gas is subdivided into 48 paths, the combustion is uniform, the efficiency is nearly 100%, and the NOx emission is lower than the emission standard of 15ppm.
