EBICO works with Lanzhou Thermal Power Group for long-term environmental protection!

Lanzhou used to be a well-known heavy industry pollution city. The highly concentrated heavy industry layout and winter heating have caused great pollution pressure on the urban atmospheric environment. With the slogan of "Lanzhou Blue" starting, a number of pollution prevention measures have been introduced one after another, and EBICO, which has a vast market in Lanzhou, has also contributed to this "blue sky defense war".

2021-2022 Heating Season

Since 2018, Lanzhou City has been actively looking for means to solve the situation and actively promoting the transformation from coal to gas and electricity and low nitrogen emission in the heating industry.

Based on this background, Lanzhou Thermal Power Group, which covers nearly half of the city's heating area, about 740 institutions and 500,000 households with heat users, has built low-nitrogen renovation projects including Nanhetan and Party School of the Municipal Party Committee under the guidance of the “Implementation Plan of Low-nitrogen Renovation Project of Gas Boiler for Clean Heating in Winter of Lanzhou City in 2021-2023”.

According to the investigation by the EBICO professional team, before renovation, the two stations’ NOx emission has exceeded 150mg, the fuel combustion status was unstable and the cost saving was minimal. Aiming at the emission target that the final NOx should be less than 30mg, EBICO has formulated a complete set of solutions with three new EC-GR series low-nitrogen burners and supporting facilities for Lanzhou Thermal Power.

This product series is rational in shape and structure. The technologies of staged supply of oxygen for central fuel and the peripheral fuel, and negative oxygen burning, can have the fuel controlled at an ideal state, avoiding the forming of high-temperature accumulation zone, which obviously controlled NOx and CO emissions and successfully completes the annual heating work.

Renovation results:

1.Output 35MW；

2.Fuel consumption not increased;

3.Save installation space and cost;

4.Modular and analog frequency control, which is convenient for installation and maintenance;

5.NOx emission dropped by 120mg, and finally stabilized within 30mg.

2022-2023 Heating Season

Time came to the autumn of 2022, and a new round of heating season was approaching. The after-sales service team of EBICO set out again to overhaul the combustion equipment that had been shut down for seven months from the previous heating season.

Clean the filter and the fire detector, fasten the transmission shaft, and the after-sales personnel are busy in the front line of heating, skillfully and efficiently do the preparatory work, investigate the potential safety hazards to the greatest extent, and get ready for the start of heating season.

According to the real-time monitoring data, the outlet water temperature of the heating station of the Party School of the Municipal Party Committee is 65 degree, and the backwater temperature is 43 to 45 degree. The heating station of Nanhetan also meets the heating requirements.

During the Chinese Lunar New Year, EBICO provides 24-hour service, and arranged staff to stay in Lanzhou to provide long-term service support for heating and environmental protection in Chengguan District and Lanzhou City.

For Lanzhou, the past year of 2022 was a breakthrough year. Thanks to the joint efforts of EBICO and other partners, the annual emission of nitrogen oxides in Chengguan District has been reduced to 2,208.6 tons, and the number of excellent air quality days in Lanzhou has reached 301 days, and the ambient air quality has entered the ranks of national standard cities for the first time.
