In the face of low-temperature weather, the role of physical warmth is always limited, and the howling north wind easily penetrated the thick winter coat that was put on with great difficulty, highlighting the menacing trend of this cold wave.
In response to the winter cold, Zhengzhou started the central heating work as early as mid-November this year.
Shangdu Road neighborhood
Since 2020, EBICO has successively provided winter heat protection with 10 sets of EC-GR series combustion equipment and supporting fans with a total output of 580MW for 13 communities and 2 administrative villages of Shangdu Road residential area, involving residents of more than 10 million square meters in the eastern district.
These 10 burners have worked for Shangdu Road area for two heating seasons. After entering the third service cycle, the professional technicians of EBICO are in place to overhaul and debug the equipment, and start the production mode in advance, striving to output high-quality heat with up-to-standard temperature on the starting day.
Zhengzhou Airport Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone
Zhengzhou Airport Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone is the first national airport economic comprehensive experimental zone in China, and the port heating project is listed as the key project in Henan Province and the top ten livelihood issues in the airport area.
Since 2019, three sets of combustion equipment with a total output of 174MW have greatly met the thermal demand of the comprehensive economic and industrial zone in the port area. Since then, every heating season, EBICO’s blue uniform has been sticking to the front line of heating, and accumulated new heating area of 3.8 million square meters.
Zhengzhou High-tech Zone
Since its inception, the High-tech Zone has set up independent coal-fired power heating units because of its remoteness from the main city and numerous industrial users. In response to the "double-carbon" goal, Zhengzhou issued the "Special Action Plan of Zhengzhou Energy Structure Adjustment in 2020", which stopped coal-fired power units in the main urban area, and Zhengzhou Thermal Power Group continued to provide heat for the high-tech zone.
At the important juncture of environmental protection transformation, EBICO, which has established a long-term cooperative friendship with Zhengzhou Thermal Power, has made great efforts to help. Five EC-GR series natural gas burners have replaced the original coal-fired power units, and the NOx emission less than 15ppm has perfectly implemented the heating concept of "environmental protection is not an option but a mission". The 290MW heat supply makes the heating area of the high-tech zone continue to exceed 10 million square meters this winter, covering about 170,000 residents.
Another heating season with EBICO
The total area of central heating network of Zhengzhou Thermal Power will exceed 200 million square meters.
The newly added heating area is about 9.57 million square meters.
