On September 8, Wuxi High-Tech Zone, Bosch China and Wafer Works signed a strategic cooperation agreement, and the first carbon neutral consulting project of Bosch Group in China was successfully settled in Wuxi, taking a solid step towards the in-depth implementation of the "Double Carbon" strategy!
Carbon peak refers to the process of carbon dioxide emissions reaching a historical high and then entering a continuous decline after a plateau period, which is also the historical inflection point when carbon dioxide emissions turn from increasing to decreasing; carbon neutral refers to minimizing carbon dioxide emissions from anthropogenic activities through energy efficiency and energy substitution, and then offsetting the carbon dioxide emissions through other means such as forest carbon sinks or capture to achieve a balance between sources and sinks. In 2020, China announced to the world at the United Nations General Assembly the goal of achieving carbon peaking by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060.

Back in 2006, EBICO and the Bosch Group had their first "encounter" in the Wuxi market: for the environmental improvement project of Bosch's household appliance brand Bosch Washing Machine production base, EBICO provided an all-in-one environmental protection solution including "electric to gas" upgrade of the hot air furnace, exhaust gas incineration of the paint shop and waste heat recovery of the flue gas. Thousands of days and nights on Wangzhuang Road in Wuxi Hi-Tech Development Zone, EBICO's thermal equipment always ran as usual, preserving the sweet memories of the first cooperation between the two sides.
In recent years, the Xinjiang region has been developing rapidly, and EBICO has partnered with Bosch Therm to do its best in the vast Xinjiang market. The Sino-Thai Chemical Tianyu Coal Chemical project is a vivid illustration of their tacit cooperation. In order to meet the high temperature and pressure requirements for the production of PVC resin and other chemical products, two Bosch 50 t/h steam boilers were used in the project, and the EBICO EC15GR hot air type custom burner became the perfect solution. According to the site conditions and customer requirements, the complete thermal equipment adopts a dual fuel combustion system of barren gas/resolved gas, which saves economic costs while ensuring that the emission of NOx and other pollutants meet the relevant standards in Xinjiang.
We are glad to see our old friend @ Bosch Group become the first large industrial company in the world to achieve carbon neutrality, and we are also glad to see Bosch's first carbon neutral consulting project in China located in Wuxi.
