Early ignition may burn out the nozzle or cause coking near the nozzle. Late ignition will cause the flame center to move up, which may cause coking in the upper part of the furnace, increase the steam temperature and even interrupt the flame.

During the operation of the boiler, if the flame center in the furnace deviates, the flame fullness of the whole furnace will deteriorate. On the one hand, there is a big smoke temperature difference in front, back, left and right of the furnace, which causes uneven heating of the water wall and may destroy the normal water circulation. On the other hand, the flue gas temperature difference between the left and right sides of the furnace outlet causes the temperature on one side of the furnace outlet to be high, which leads to the overheating of the superheater and other heating surfaces on this side and tube explosion. Therefore, attention should be paid to adjusting the position of the flame center in the operation so that it is located in the center of the furnace.

The quality of pulverized coal combustion in a boiler is first manifested in the furnace temperature, and the normal temperature in the center of the furnace is generally above 1500℃. If the flame has a high degree of fullness and a bright golden flame, then it is a normal status. When the flame is bright and dazzling and slightly white, it is often the phenomenon of excessive air volume. Insufficient air volume is characterized by low furnace temperature, red and dark flame and black smoke from chimney.

1. The burner has no gas: check the gas ventilation.

2. The solenoid valve or manual ball valve is not open: check whether the solenoid valve or manual ball valve is open.

3. Igniter does not produce spark: check whether the power supply is energized orwhether the igniter is damaged.

4. Incorrect position of spark or scattered spark: check whether the ceramic sleeve is broken,or adjust the distance between ignition electrode or ignition column.

5. The gas pressure is too high: adjust the pipeline pressure (5KPa is appropriate).

6. Intermittent spark or intermittent ignition: check the grounding of igniter
