Because the temperature of sintering waste gas is not high, people used to pay insufficient attention to the recycling of this part of heat energy, but in fact there is a lot to do, because the sintering waste gas is not only large in quantity, but also the heat available for recovery is large.
Blast furnace gas
The recycling of blast furnace gas is more significant than the recycling of other waste gases, because it involves the gas fuel balance of metallurgical enterprises, reduce the burning of oil and other important energy issues, so it is one of the key waste gas waste heat, waste energy recycling, should accelerate the process. Blast furnace gas belongs to ultra-low calorific value fuel, and the gas source pressure is unstable, not suitable for long-distance transportation or used as city life gas, recycling has greater difficulty, except for hot air furnace and boiler, can only be used for compound heating coke ovens and rolling steel heating furnace with double preheating function, the common way to convert the use of blast furnace gas is combustion power generation.
With the further improvement of blast furnace raw material conditions, equipment level and the increasing level of operation, the heat value of blast furnace gas will become lower and lower, the main ways to solve this problem are.

To the calorific value of 3767kJ/m3 of blast furnace gas, for example, if the oxygen content in the air from 21% to 30%, its theoretical combustion temperature up to about 1900 ℃, equivalent to the effect of air, gas double preheating to 950 ℃.
Converter gas
Since converter production is cyclical, the flue gas waste heat discharged is also intermittent and cyclical, so that the converter waste heat boiler can only intermittently produce steam. In order to turn the intermittent gas supply into a continuous and stable gas source, steam accumulators can be set up in the gas supply system, which can generally improve the boiler thermal efficiency by 3% to 5%.
One of the reasons affecting the converter gas recovery is the existence of unsafe factors in the converter gas recovery process.
