Beijing Energy Group Co., Ltd. is a wholly state-owned company funded and established by the Beijing Municipal Government. In 2011, the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government decided to integrate Jingneng Group and Beijing Thermal Power from the strategic height of optimizing the capital's state-owned economic layout, and realized the second reorganization to make the group become the main body of capital investment in electric power and thermal energy, thus determining the strategy of "energy-based, moderately diversified, integrated industry and finance, and coordinated development". Jingneng Group currently has three main businesses, five major sectors, and four listed companies. The three main businesses are power energy investment, heat production and supply, and real estate development and operation.
The 2×350,000-kilowatt cogeneration project in Qinhuangdao Development Zone was invested and constructed by Beijing Jingneng Electric Power Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Beijing Energy Group Co., Ltd. The development concept of "scientific environmental protection, energy conservation and emission reduction" adhered to by the project is in line with EBICO. Two 18-ton steam boilers, with a steam temperature of 350°C and a steam pressure of 1.3MPa, have been equipped with EC8GR burners by a professional team from EBICO, which has been suitable for natural gas as the main fuel. In consideration of safety factors, the burner and its supporting facilities have been upgraded to explosion-proof configuration. The emission of flue gas pollutants has been better than the ultra-low emission standards, and it has reached the advanced level of similar domestic units in terms of environmental friendliness, advanced technology and economic efficiency.
