In modern ships, diesel engines are mainly used as the main power output device for ship propulsion, and combustion equipment is used to provide good combustion conditions, so as to release the chemical energy of fuel to the maximum extent and convert it into heat energy. This mainly depends on the supporting equipment of the boiler, so the management and maintenance of the supporting equipment of the Marine boiler is paid more and more attention. General supporting equipment includes: burner, control box, oil pump set, water pump, water level control system and so on.
1) Check the installation of burner on boiler
Ensure that the installation is correct, safe and the flame is completely in the combustion chamber. The following shall be performed at least once a year before starting the burner :(1) set the fuel flow to ensure the heat required by the boiler; Regulating the flow of combustion air has obtained the required working range; (2) Check the situation of combustion, ensure that the toxic substances produced and the unburned gas content does not exceed the requirements of the current rules, confirm that the combustion product elimination is smooth.
2) start
(1) Start the thermal oil circulating pump, and make the pressure stable by circulating normally for about 0.5 hour after starting the pump; (2) Press the start button of the burner to observe whether the furnace flame is burning normally. If it is not ignited, the burner should be started again after troubleshooting.
3) Stop furnace operation
(1) Normal stop of furnace: In case of shutdown, after scavenging should be carried out first. At this time, the main fuel valve will be automatically closed and the main flame will be extinguished. The time of afterscavenging should be over 60s. (2) Gradually reduce the temperature, close the burner, stop burning; (2) Emergency shutdown of furnace. In case of emergency when the furnace is stopped, the burner should be shut down quickly, and the burner should be moved along the hinge shaft of the burner to form a natural ventilation state between the furnace chamber and the chimney to dissipate the heat storage in the furnace, so as to allow the thermal oil to cool naturally and prevent overheating.
4) Routine maintenance and precautions
(1) In order to optimize the characteristics of all aspects of the equipment, regular maintenance must be carried out, mainly including: atomizing cup -- daily removal of sediment on the surface and at the rear distribution hole; Fuel filter - remove the filter daily for cleaning; Igniter to clear sediments and reset electrode gaps every 3 months; Linkage -- Check screw tightness and lubrication support points every 3 months; Burner bearings - check for wear every 6 months; Burner cartridge heaters -- check electrical continuity every 6 months; Pressure switch -- checks every 6 months whether the setting value is equal to the debugging value; Motor bearings - wear and tear checked every 12 months; Modulating motor controller - Check potentiometer and brush every 12 months and replace if necessary.
5) Matters needing attention when using
(1) Operation to be reasonable, gently press the control button and switch; The operation of the burner should be carried out with extreme care and under strict monitoring, and the burner should never be run in an unsupervised state; (3) In order to ensure the safety of the operation of equipment, it is not allowed to repeatedly ineffective ignition of the burner, such as two consecutive ignition can not establish the flame, it should be found out the reason, and should be conducted for a long enough time after scavenged again ignition; (4) after routine maintenance or a long-term cease-fire, the need to re-test the burner.
