Zhongjin Lingnan (Shaoguan) Smelter’s Low-nitrogen Burner Project for 50-ton Steam Boiler

Shaoguan Smelter of Zhongjin Lingnan Co., Ltd. is the first large-scale lead-zinc smelting enterprise in China that adopts the British patent ISP technology for smelting lead and zinc in closed blast furnace and relies on domestic strength to build up. It currently has two sets of smelting production systems with the same process. The product varieties include four series of metals, alloys, chemical products, and silicon carbide products. Lead ingots and cadmium ingots have won the National Gold Award and are exported to more than 20 countries in Europe, America, Southeast Asia, etc. And region.

In order to implement the major strategy of ecological civilization construction, Guangdong Provincial Government has issued a series of policies and measures to encourage and guide the development of green and low-carbon. The pace of green technology innovation and industrialization has accelerated, and positive progress has been made in the application of corporate green supply chains. Zhongjin Lingnan Shaoguan Smelter has always adhered to the concept of green development, with the goal of building a green system and a green factory, promoting cleaner production and increasing pollution prevention. Under this background, EBICO cooperated with it to be responsible for the burner supporting project of the new steam boiler.

The target boiler is a 50-ton steam boiler, and EBICO choose EC14GR low-nitrogen burners for it. Base on the on-site working conditions, EBICO technical team adopted the side wall layout after many considerations. And use natural gas as fuel, supplemented by ultra-low nitrogen technologies such as ultra-mixing, staged-level combustion, and vacuum internal mixing, which effectively guarantees the environmentally friendly and low-nitrogen effect of the boiler. After the completion of the project, nitrogen oxide emissions will be less than 30 mg/m3.
