In the development process of thermal engineering field, burner is an inseparable topic. On a micro level, a burner is a mechanical body consisting of numerous parts working in tandem. Today, EBICO technical engineers will introduce the burner workflow in depth and briefly.
Generally speaking, the burner process consists of four stages: preparation stage, pre-purge stage, ignition stage and normal combustion stage.
Preparation phase
The burner starts internal sequential self-test, and the program controller is powered on. At the same time, the servo motor drives the damper to the closed state, and after the sequential self-test is completed, it is in the standby state. When the restriction switches such as thermostat, too high and too low gas pressure switch, and steam pressure switch of steam boiler allow, the program controller starts to start and enters the pre-blowing stage. If the solenoid valve set has a leak detection system, the system first carries out valve leak detection when the above restriction switches are allowed, and only after the detection is passed does it enter the pre-purge stage, while the burner fan motor starts.
Pre-purge phase
The servo motor drives the damper to a large fire opening. Pre-purge by blowing in air, depending on the programmable controller, after about 20~40 seconds of purge, the servo motor drives the damper to the ignition open state, ready for ignition. The whole pre-blowing stage, air pressure switch to measure the air pressure, only the air pressure to adhere to a high enough level, the pre-blowing process can continue.
Ignition stage
After the servo motor drives the damper to the ignition open state. And output high voltage to the ignition electrode to generate ignition electric spark, about 3 seconds later, the program controller sends electricity to the peace solenoid valve and proportional solenoid valve, the valve opens, the gas reaches the combustion head, mixed with the air provided by the fan, and then is ignited. Within 2 seconds after the valve opens, the ionization electrode should detect the presence of flame only then, the program controller continues the sequence later, otherwise, the program controller locks and disconnects the solenoid valve to stop the gas supply and alarm at the same time.
When the burner successfully passes the three stages of preparation, pre-purge and ignition, it enters the normal combustion stage. The above is a brief introduction of the burner workflow. For more information about burners, please visit the website of EBICO Burner at https://cn.ebico.com/.
After the installation of the burner is completed, the operating data of the burner needs to be adjusted by professional after-sales engineers according to the customer's requirements and the working conditions of the project site. ...
