Burners need to be supported by a fuel delivery system for proper operation, and solenoid valves are an important component of the fuel delivery system. Solenoid valve is an actuator for automatic control of fluids, and its working quality is mainly liquid or gas. In the field of burners, the application of solenoid valves is mainly to control the automatic supply and automatic cut-off of fuel. According to the type of fuel, the burner solenoid valve can be simply divided into fuel solenoid valve and gas solenoid valve. Gas solenoid valve mainly controls natural gas, liquefied gas and city gas and other gas fuels; fuel solenoid valve mainly controls light oil, heavy oil and residual oil and other liquid fuels.

1)Direct-acting solenoid valve

Principle: When energized, the solenoid coil generates electromagnetic force to lift the closing member from the valve seat, the valve opens; when disconnected, the electromagnetic force disappears, the spring presses the closing member on the valve seat, the valve closes.

Features: in the vacuum, negative pressure, zero pressure can work properly, but the passage diameter is generally not more than 25mm.

 

2)Distribution direct-acting solenoid valve

Principle: It is a combination of direct-acting and pilot type burner solenoid valve, when the inlet and outlet no differential pressure, after energized, the electromagnetic force directly to the pilot valve and the main valve closing member in turn upward lift, the valve open. When the inlet and outlet reach the start pressure difference, after energizing, the electromagnetic force pilot small valve, the main valve lower chamber pressure rises, the upper chamber pressure falls, thus using the pressure difference to push the main valve upward; when the power is off, the pilot valve uses the spring force or medium pressure to push the closing member and move downward to close the valve.

Features: in zero differential pressure or vacuum, high pressure power, the requirement must be installed horizontally.

3)Pilot solenoid valve

Principle: When energized, the electromagnetic force to open the pilot hole, the pressure in the upper chamber rapidly decreases, forming a low pressure differential around the closing member, the fluid pressure pushes the closing member to move upward, the valve opens; when disconnected, the spring force to close the pilot hole, the inlet pressure through the bypass hole quickly chamber around the closing member to form a low pressure differential, the fluid pressure pushes the closing member to move downward, closing the valve.

Features: fluid pressure range upper limit is high, can be installed at will (need to customize) but must meet the fluid pressure differential conditions.
