Economic growth and power shortage coexist

Vietnam, a Southeast Asian country located on the Indochina Peninsula, is surrounded by the sea on three sides and is rich in tourism, crude oil, bauxite, and coal resources.

As the main beneficiary of the spillover of China's industrial chain after the impact of the epidemic, Vietnam's economic growth has been significant in recent years, the structure of the tertiary industry tends to be coordinated, the level of opening up to the outside world continues to increase, and the demand for electricity has undergone multiple upgrades. According to estimates by the Vietnamese government, electricity demand in Southeast Asian countries will grow by 8.6% annually between 2021 and 2025, and by 7.2% between 2026 and 2030.

Facing the imminent shortage of electricity consumption, Vietnam has vigorously promoted the construction of power plants to escort the growth of economic development. Located in the Yunfeng Economic Zone, the Yunfeng Phase 1 660MW×2 supercritical coal-fired thermal power plant project focuses on alleviating the current shortage of electricity in southern Vietnam. After completion, it will supply electricity for the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), and provide electricity for local people’s livelihood and the economic zone. Surging green and seeking common development

The Yunfeng Power Plant project has a long warranty period and is highly valued by customers. In order to ensure the actual operation effect, the EBICO technical team created an exclusive solution after several discussions.

In view of the distribution of resources in Vietnam, EBICO selected EC-QR series low-nitrogen burners to fully meet the heat demand of 50t/h. The equipment uses light (diesel) oil as fuel. For oil burning equipment, a good atomization effect is an important prerequisite for efficient combustion. EBICO uses high-pressure atomization to allow the fuel to flow from the nozzle to the ambient gas at high speed, expanding the surface area of the fuel, making the combustion rate nearly 100%, and greatly saving fuel costs.

Considering Vietnam's 2050 "carbon neutrality" goal and the "Eighth Electric Power Planning Draft", EBICO installed filters with automatic cleaning functions for the suction end of oil pumps, and comprehensively used central premixing, appropriate disturbance, and multi-channel staggered layers, etc. Technology, checks at every level, makes the discharge of various pollutants under effective control, which greatly eases the pressure on environmental protection in the economic zone.

EBICO adjusted the arrangement in time to ensure that the equipment and personnel are in place in time.
